Western Bay Sailing is a recognised Royal Yachting Association training centre and is pleased to offer the following courses. Our principal is an RYA Yachtmaster Ocean Cruising Instructor and has been teaching RYA courses in England and Spain for the last twenty years. ICC (International Certificate of Competency) - Please note, that under Spanish Law it is now mandatory to hold the International Certificate of Competency to rent or own any water craft, in all Spanish Waters. We pride ourselves in being able to run small classes & offer very competitive pricing. We do not have to hire in teaching staff so our costs are kept very low. The Marina location provides an excellent base for your course environment. All of our instructors are also Power Boat Instructors, therefore we are able to offer Power Boat Levels 1 and 2 Licences, Jet Ski Licences as well as I.C.C. testing. Our practical courses are offered through RYA recognised training centre “Marine Group Spain”. The prices listed here are really for guidance only and we are able to discuss deals especially if there is more than one of you. We are also able to run courses to suit your availability and flights.
* RYA Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster courses require previous knowledge to RYA Day Skipper level. **RYA Yachtmaster Ocean course requires possession of a “ Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate”. Pricing does not include flights, it is our experience that customers prefer the flexibility of booking their own on line but we can help if it is required. We also do fully inclusive courses with accommodation in villas, self-contained flats, or on board one of our vessels.
